Tag & JB for May swap, Cat swap

Here is a tag I made for a Month swap. Everyone picked a different month and made a tag pertaining to that month. I got May and was thinking May flowers. I used Walk in My Garden for the flower pot and flowers (2 different flowers), some ribbon from M's, a brad, and of course Star pen!

Here is a pic of another couple swaps I finished. The first was a cat swap. I cut this cat from Create a Critter at about 3.5 or 4 maybe. I added a bling on the bow and some gel pen for a bit of detail. The other is a Journal Box for the Month of May. The same as above- everyone picked a month and made a JB for the month. Again, I was thinking May flowers and came up with this. The grass is from Plantin' Schoolbook & the flowers are from Walk in My Garden. I also added some glitter glue...

April Showers trinchie

April Showers bring May flowers (or at least I HOPE with all this rain we've had! lol) Here is a Trinchie I made for another CM swap. I used Create a Critter for the bird & flowers. I will have to look for where I found the umbrella & flower (*I used Every day Paper Dolls for the umbrella & Walk in My Garden for the square lol). I used light blue DCWV Shimmer paper for the base & Glossy Accents (by Ranger) for the raindrops! I added a little Star pen in purple and a clear bling (from the $1 bin!), also inked around the edges...

Where are you from ATC

Over at Cafemom, we're doing an ATC swap of where we are from! At first I thought AWESOME, soo excited to get all the different ATCs from different places... Then it was time to make mine. UUGGHHH... Didn't know it was going to be SO hard! lol
After a long while this is what I came up with.... I used 50 States, ribbon, a star brad, some Liquid pearls in white opal, white gel pen (for the dots) and a blue Star pen.

My Sunday, in ATC land

Well, my brain is on the fritz. ALL my creativity seems to be dried up. Yesterday we went to M's, seemed like nothing was on sale, boo(!)... BUT I still managed to spend enough money. I got a MS score board. That thing is pretty cool. I wish it had a way to cut in the groves, that would make it awesome! lol

Today all I managed to do was make ATCs -- 7 of them! haha A few I'm not fond of, but I did make some I like.

These 2 are just experimental.. They both are embossed using a heat gun, the blue in the top pic is, too. The purple one kinda "smooshed" together, and I also added more purple after the pic was taken. The blue one has the shimmer inked edges.

This one has Glimmer Mist all over the pink, and shimmer inked edges... It does NOT photograph well :( It's a LOT more sparkley in person and brighter, too.

These 2 have glitter gel pens or Stardust pen used on them. The purple mat is DCWV Shimmer stack.

I bought this b-day stamp set on sale. (woo!) It also has the purple Shimmer mat, and glitter gel pens used. Oh ignore my daughter's toy top, she thought it needed in the pic, too! haha :)

ATC holder

I made an ATC holder tonight. It turned out kinda cute. It's not as "professional" as I wanted... But it was my first one. I didn't even follow a pattern or anything, just made it up as I went along! :) lol I think I'll make another one and try to make it look a bit better, since I know a bit more now. I used clear, plastic Badge ID holders from WM. They were 12 for a little less than $2, not too bad, I guess. lol I like how you can see the whole ATC and they are protected from dirt and kid's fingers.

I'll try to post some pics of my first one tomorrow and IF I make one that looks better! haha

Here is the one I've made. Haven't done a second one yet..... been busy. My cat wanted to help! lol
