Kids Birthday Cards

Yesterday we had 2 birthday parties to go to! Yes, Two in one day... wow.  I decided last minute (of course) to make the card. I love making cards, but WHY did I wait til midnight on Friday to decide? It's not like I didn't know we were going to the parties!! LOL
A boy card and a girl's card, both for 3 year olds! For the girls card I decided to modify one of my already made cards (it was late & I was tired)... Create a Critter for the cards were used

For the Boy card, he likes Dinosaurs so, here is what we came up with. I got my hubby to help. It's his cousin, too! I would have added a few more details, but he was getting antsy.... lol

Elegant Edges

Elegant Edges is one of my new favorite carts! You can do so many fun things with the cart. You can do borders, frames, background sheets for LO's, book covers.
 Here is a little JB I made for a swap using Elegant Edges. I used Butterfly 2 on page 51. I added a little stardust pen and some bling. I also cut the background .25 bigger than the front sheet.

Here is a LO I started, and Maddie decided to write her name right across the top... So I covered her name with a cut from Elegant Edges! lol I used Scallops on page 48 with the border feature on. I didn't have the cart or would have used it for the picture mat, too. The title letters are from Kate's ABCs (LOVE that cart also!) The paper is a DCWV Stack, the words and flowers were part of the design. I added the pink and teal ribbon to help the words pop.

Hello everyone!
I know it's been a while. I feel like I have had ZERO time for much lately... maybe it's just that I am warn out & in my own world? Idk. I didn't even get to finish my My Pink Stamper challenges for National Scrapbook Day. :( I didn't post my pics -- I wasn't finished.


 Here is what I've been working on today... This is for a Page Elements Partner swap on Cafemom. The tag is from Storybook and everything else is from Playtime Lite cartridge. The green on the JB and the blue on the tag is dry embossed. I like how everything is turning out!

Happy Mother's Day & MPS Challenges

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to you all!!! I've had a pretty great day :) It started off kinda rocky/ not-so-good, but has improved GREATLY! My great Hubby & Daughter made me a card (With MY supplies!! I had to show hubby where things were! lol), it turned out really cute! :) I'll post pics later... Then they took me shopping and out to eat at a Hibachi Grill!! YUMMY!!! I got TWO new carts-- I think hubby was feeling guilty about the last couple years. lol I picked Kate's ABCs and Elegant Edges -- they are BOTH awesome! I can't wait to play...


For National Scrapbook Day, MPS, aka Robyn gave us a "few" challenges. We have until Monday to do them (12 all together!!). I did scrap 2 pages, I just have to figure out which challenge they fit into.... I got one page almost done and Maddie decided to write her name on it. :( I wasn't very happy, but we learned a lesson, & it can be fixed... SO, now I have to "finish" the pages. I'll also post pics of those... later. lol

St. Patrick's Day LO

Here is another LO I did using Swap items. This was a LO for St. Patrick's Day. I made the Twinchies, but IDK about the title or the big leprechaun.. ** I just found out/figured out that Sandra @ Scrappin' with Sandy made the "Lucky" title! Love the shimmer :)

Dying Easter eggs LO

Here is a LO I did the other day with some of my swap items! I have to say, I LOVE having swap stuff around to chose from! I know a CM friend Chrystal V. made the tag, Monique from This Misfit Crafter made the title (bunny from Stretch), and Sandra from Scrappin' with Sandy made the bunny (from CaC), but IDK who made the flower. They are ALL Soo cute! I used PP from the All Year stack ( from a couple years ago), and blue paper from the Glitter Stack (DCWV). I also did a small amount of journaling with a Sakura glaze pen, in black.
