Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's and Father figures!! My daughter and I made my husband a card yesterday and gave it to him last night. I used Create a Critter for the frog ("toad") and dry embossed him to make him look bumpy. Kate's ABCs was used for the phrase/wording. On the inside I used Everyday Pop-Up Cards for the pop-up message (hint: there are NO instructions on how to use the pop-ups, it's trial and error)! I also added some Stickles & Glitter glue.
For the card I made for MY Dad I cut 2 motorcycles from Everyday Paper Dolls; YES, my dad rides a HARLEY!! lol I cut one in green (Dad's Harley is green) and one in black; then pieced it together. I added some Stickles for the "lights" and some accents on the green. I also added Liquid pearls for the "chrome" details. lol I cut the sentiments from Tear Drop; I used the "Drop-less" Feature most. I cut the card base and the mat from DCWV Shimmer stack.

Butterflies and Jellyfish
This weekend I've been working on getting my swaps ready for my Cafemom groups. One swap was all about butterflies and the other was "Under the sea". I still have a couple more swaps to get done... and I thought I hadn't signed up for many! haha
The butterflies are pretty simple; I might add some stardust pen. They were cut from Everyday Pop-Up Cards. They are cut at 3.... It took some time to get all the little pieces cut out and trimmed.
Thanks for stopping by! :)

For the Under the Sea swap I chose to do Jellyfish, girl jellyfish! lol They were cut at 3.25 from Create a Critter. I dry embossed the bows and added a little stardust pen.
Thanks for stopping by! :)

Inspire ATC
A few weeks ago I saw an ATC I loved.... it inspired me to try one. The one I made didn't come out like I planned, but I really like it! I started with an "Artsy" (tech. term hehe) frame of mind... I Glimmer Misted a piece of light blue cardstock. Then layered another piece of cardstock 2 1/4 by 3 1/4, used an edge punch Swiss Cheese (By EK Success), and wrapped a ribbon around the edge. I attached the ribbon with Staples (in blue LOL) just for a little extra fun. I used a TH Memo Pin to hold a rectangle of CS where I attached the wire word "inspire" with Glossy Accents (by Ranger). I then sprinkled a few Martha Stewart Micro Beads onto the Glossy Accents; Pop doted the back after it dried. I added the bow, flowers with bling centers, and the little acetate bee (Making Memories?) onto foam pop dots.
